Since 2019, I’ve been helping businesses go from vision boards to fully realized, thriving brands. Through my journey, mistakes, and tips, I help you simplify the process, streamline your design needs and amplify your impact.
We had the opportunity to partner with BEAM Lab, a cutting-edge research group at the University of Virginia, to bring their digital presence to life. Led by Dr. Kory Burns, BEAM Lab is pushing the boundaries of quantum materials, energy applications, and defense technology—so their website needed to match that level of innovation and just in time for recruitment season.
To design a modern, easy-to-navigate Squarespace website that makes it simple for prospective students, collaborators, and researchers to engage with their work. Dr. Burns wanted a platform that was visually engaging, easy to maintain, and straightforward for students to update—without the need for excessive coding.
Project Highlights:
Research-Centric Design
A clean, structured layout showcasing the lab’s research areas, methodologies, and impactful publications.
Team Showcase
A dedicated section introducing the team with detailed bios and research focus, emphasizing the diverse, collaborative environment of BEAM Lab.
Resources & Tutorials
Providing easy access to educational tools, coding tutorials, and lab-specific resources to support students and researchers.
