    Understanding Maya’s Needs

Maya’s vision for her website was clear from the start. She wanted a site that would highlight her best photography while making it simple for visitors to navigate. Her goal was to attract new clients, feature her diverse portfolio, and stand out in a competitive photography market. To accomplish this, we began with a thorough strategy session. During this session, we outlined her goals, discussed her brand identity, and identified her target audience.

    The Project Breakdown

For Maya’s brand, we developed a clean, sophisticated logo, paired with a modern color palette that reflects her creativity and professionalism. Her Squarespace website features easy navigation, bold typography, and a design layout that highlights her services and work, making it simple for potential clients to connect and book her.

Our goal was to ensure that Maya’s online presence aligned with her brand values and that her audience could engage effortlessly.

    Brand Strategy

We kicked off with a strategy session to clarify Maya’s brand essence: authentic storytelling through a unique lens. This foundation guided every aspect of our work, ensuring that Maya’s brand and online presence resonated with her mission and attracted her ideal audience.

    Visual Identity

Drawing inspiration from Maya’s work, we crafted a visual identity that reflected the intimacy, authenticity, and inclusivity of her photography. This identity went beyond aesthetics; it was a visual representation of Maya’s values and her dedication to creating safe spaces for her subjects.

    Website Design and Development

The centerpiece of our collaboration was Maya’s website. Designed to be as beautiful and impactful as her photography, the site provides a platform for Maya to showcase her portfolio, share her stories, and connect with her audience. With user experience in mind, we ensured that her site was not only visually stunning but also easy to navigate, making it effortless for visitors to explore Maya’s world.

    Showcasing Maya’s Portfolio

One of the most important sections of Maya’s website was her portfolio. We organized her diverse body of work into clear categories, making it easy for visitors to explore. For example, the portfolio included sections for wedding photography, portraits, and commercial projects. Each section utilized large, high-resolution images to give a gallery-like feel. In addition, we optimized the images for fast loading times, which improved the user experience and boosted SEO.

    User-Friendly Navigation for Maya’s Clients

User experience was a top priority in Maya’s website design. We made sure the site’s navigation was intuitive, allowing visitors to easily find the information they needed. A clean, simple menu at the top of each page provided direct links to Maya’s portfolio, services, and contact page. We also added a sticky header for ease of navigation as visitors scrolled through the pages.

    The Result

Designing a custom Squarespace website for Maya Iman required balancing aesthetics and functionality. By focusing on a sleek, modern design, optimizing for SEO, and creating a user-friendly experience, we delivered a website that elevated Maya’s brand and helped her business thrive.
