A weekly newsletter for business owners and creatives about how design impacts not just what we see, but how we grow, connect, and thrive.
Since 2019, I’ve been helping businesses go from vision boards to fully realized, thriving brands. Through my journey, mistakes, and tips, I help you simplify the process, streamline your design needs and amplify your impact.

As the year comes to a close, I’m slowing down to reflect on what 2024 taught me—about my business, my faith, and the incredible people I’ve had the honor of working with.
This year, I embraced the phrase “done is better than perfect.” Let’s be honest, perfection is an impossible standard that only leads to burnout. Instead of obsessing over every detail, I focused on creating systems and delivering value. Launching my website template shop was a huge step—one that wasn’t without its challenges, but those imperfect moments were exactly what pushed me to grow. Imperfection doesn’t mean failure; it means you’re showing up and making progress.
In 2024, I made a commitment to let my faith be more prominent in my business. Whether it was adding biblical principles into my strategy sessions or creating space for prayer in my internal planning process, I’ve seen firsthand how God’s guidance brings clarity and peace—even in the messiest of seasons. One of my favorite moments was hearing how this openness resonated with my clients, reminding me that being authentic is always the best strategy.
This year, my audience taught me that clarity is everything. From shifting how I funnel leads to revamping my service offers, I learned to pay close attention to what my clients needed and speak directly to their branding and website design needs. Turns out, jargon-free, solution-driven language makes a difference. And yes, the phrase “increase conversions” might have made its last appearance in my vocabulary (you’re welcome).
There were moments this year when I felt the weight of juggling too many hats. Learning to say “no” and prioritize rest was a game-changer. Closing my laptop by 4 PM, resting on weekends, and delegating more to my team weren’t just good ideas—they were survival strategies. These boundaries didn’t just protect my peace; they made me a better, more present business owner and person to those closest to me.
Don’t get me wrong—hitting revenue goals is amazing, but what really filled my cup this year was seeing the effects of my work. Whether it was helping a nonprofit refine their website to better serve their mission or empowering a new business owner with tools to take their brand to the next level, the wins that stuck with me were the ones where I saw real lives being changed.
2024 has also been a year of financial wake-up calls. Like many businesses, I faced a season where my usual strategies weren’t delivering the results I needed. As someone who went to school for marketing, it was humbling to realize I couldn’t rely on just one approach. I had to pivot, get intentional, and invest in strategy. Joining Revolutionary Society by Latesha of Her Marketing Coach was a huge decision, but it gave me tools to make smarter decisions in my business and reminded me of the value of proactive planning. Sometimes, a rebuild season is exactly what you need to grow stronger.
Next year, I’m doubling down on simplicity and scalability. From refining my offers (ahem, streamlined Design Sprints!) to being more intentional about how I show up—both online and offline—2025 is all about focusing on what truly matters. I’ll also be sharing more about my faith journey and offering resources for businesses looking to simplify their design process.
So here’s to a year of lessons, growth, and unexpected blessings. Thank you for being part of this journey—whether you’ve been a client, a reader, or someone cheering from the sidelines. I’m so grateful for you.
Now it’s your turn: What was your biggest lesson from 2024? Drop me a DM or send me a message, I’d love to hear how this year shaped you.
Cheers to 2025!
