Design Sprint
Terms & Conditions

The Design Sprint is a structured, strategy-led website build designed to deliver a launch-ready website within a defined timeframe.
The Design Sprint includes:
  • One (1) launch-ready website built on Showit or Squarespace
  • Up to five (5) core pages
  • Website strategy and structural guidance
  • Copy guidance and direction (not full copywriting)
  • Two (2) rounds of revisions
  • Final handoff of a launch-ready website

The Design Sprint is not a custom or open-ended engagement. Any work not explicitly listed above is outside the scope of this service.

Scope of Service

Design Sprint projects operate on a fixed timeline. Clients are required to submit all final content no later than seven (7) days prior to Design Week. Content readiness is required before design work begins and is not dependent on the kickoff call.

  • If required content is late or incomplete:
  • The project will be paused
  • A reschedule fee will apply
  • The sprint will be moved to the next available window based on studio availability

Timelines are protected to preserve quality and capacity.

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your participation in the Design Sprint service, provided by RP Digital Design Studio LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing or participating in the Design Sprint, you (“Client” or “You”) agree to the following:

Your Strategy Session is limited to 60 minutes. We provide a five (5) minute grace period to wrap up the session, for a total maximum time of 65 minutes. Any request to continue beyond this window will require scheduling a separate session.
We strongly encourage you to arrive prepared, distraction-free, and ready to move forward. The Design Sprint is designed to support focused decision-making and forward momentum within a defined timeline.

Strategy Session Policy

Requests for follow-up support or assistance outside the scope of the initial Strategy Session may be accommodated through a paid session.
Follow-up sessions are billed at $150 per 60 minutes
Sessions are booked based on availability
These sessions may include additional design or strategic support related to your project.

Additional Design Support

In addition to the 60-minute Strategy Session, clients will have the opportunity to communicate with the studio via Slack for comments and project-related communication throughout the duration of the Design Sprint.

Ongoing Communication

The Design Sprint includes two (2) structured revision rounds.
Revisions are intended to refine the approved direction, not introduce new concepts, layouts, or scope changes.
Revision guidelines:
  • Feedback must be submitted in a single, consolidated round
  • Feedback must be provided within the designated review window
  • Requests outside the agreed scope or previously approved direction are not considered revisions

Failure to submit feedback within the review window may result in the studio proceeding with reasonable design decisions to maintain the sprint timeline.
Additional revisions or scope changes may require a separate agreement.

Revisions Policy

Any work not explicitly listed in the Scope of Service is considered out of scope.
Optional add-ons, including the Brand Kit Add-On, are governed by their own Terms & Conditions and must be purchased separately.
Out-of-scope requests will not be completed without a written agreement outlining revised scope, timeline, and fees.

Out-of-Scope Work & Add-Ons

The Design Sprint is offered with multiple payment options, which may include:
  • Pay in full
  • Split payment (50/50)
  • Monthly payment plan

By selecting a payment plan, the Client agrees to complete all scheduled payments in accordance with the selected option.

Failure to complete payments on time may result in a pause of work, delayed delivery, or withholding of final deliverables until the account is brought current.

Payments

All Design Sprint purchases are final and non-refundable.
Due to the time-bound, capacity-based nature of this service, no refunds will be issued under any circumstance once a Design Sprint has been booked. This includes, but is not limited to, changes in business direction, delays in content readiness, or scheduling conflicts on the part of the Client.

Refunds

One (1) reschedule is permitted at no additional cost.
If the Client requests a second reschedule, a $500 reschedule fee will apply. All rescheduled dates are subject to studio availability.
Repeated delays, failure to attend scheduled sessions, or ongoing unresponsiveness may result in forfeiture of the Design Sprint booking without refund.
Design Sprint timelines are protected to ensure quality delivery and studio capacity.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

To ensure a successful Design Sprint, the Client agrees to:
  • Submit all required content on time
  • Provide timely, consolidated feedback
  • Communicate through the approved channels
  • Respect the scope, timeline, and structure of the service

The Client is responsible for final decisions, publishing the website, and ongoing site management after delivery.

Client Responsibilities

Ownership of the final website design and deliverables transfers to the Client only after full payment has been received.

Until payment is completed in full:
  • All work remains the property of RP Digital Design Studio LLC
  • The studio reserves the right to withhold final files, access, or handoff materials
  • The Client may not publish, transfer, or commercially use the work

Once full payment is received, ownership transfers as outlined in this Agreement.
RP Digital Design Studio LLC retains the right to:
  • Display the work in its portfolio
  • Use the project for marketing and promotional purposes

All internal systems, frameworks, processes, and methodologies remain the intellectual property of RP Digital Design Studio LLC.

Ownership & Final Delivery

RP Digital Design Studio LLC is not responsible for:
  • Hosting, domains, or third-party platforms
  • Technical issues outside our control
  • Legal compliance or industry regulations

Limitation of Liability

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of purchase will apply.

Brand Kit Add-On

By purchasing the Brand Kit Add-On in connection with your Design Sprint, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

The Brand Kit Add-On is an optional, paid enhancement available exclusively to Design Sprint clients.
This add-on is not a standalone service and is delivered as a structured, streamlined brand foundation intended to support efficient website execution. It is not a full custom branding engagement.

1. Add-On Service Overview

The Brand Kit Add-On includes:
  • Customized text-based logo suite (primary, secondary and brandmark)
  • A defined color palette
  • A curated font system
  • Brand style guide
  • Application of the selected brand elements across your website

The Brand Kit is designed to provide cohesion and direction, allowing the studio to move directly into design execution without a traditional discovery or brand development phase.

What’s Not Included

The Brand Kit Add-On does not include:
  • Full custom logo design or multiple logo concepts
  • Brand naming or tagline development
  • Extensive brand strategy workshops
  • Brand pattern libraries, illustration systems, or icon sets
  • Multiple creative directions or exploratory rounds

2. Scope of Service

The Brand Kit Add-On is a decision-based service.

Clients will select from defined brand directions provided by the studio. Once a selection is made, the studio proceeds with implementation across the website.
Requests to revisit or change the selected brand direction after confirmation may require additional fees or a separate engagement.

3. Decision-Based Process

Brand Kit logo assets are custom-created by RP Digital Design Studio LLC and are eligible for trademark registration at the Client’s discretion.

Logos are delivered in the following file formats for ease of use and accessibility. You will receive:
  • Editable Canva file
  • PNG file (transparent background)
  • SVG file (scalable vector format)

There are no licensing restrictions on the logo design itself. The Client retains full rights to use the logo for business, marketing, and commercial purposes, including trademark registration if desired.
Advanced source files (such as Adobe Illustrator or EPS files) are not included.

4. Files & Usage

To ensure timely delivery, the Client agrees to:
  • Provide requested information promptly
  • Make brand selections within the designated timeframe
  • Approve brand elements before website execution begins

Delays in decision-making or incomplete responses may impact the Design Sprint timeline and may result in rescheduling.

5. Client Responsibilities

The Brand Kit Add-On includes the creation of three (3) logo options based on selected Brand Style.
The Client will receive three (3) logo options reflecting their business name and selected brand direction. These logo options are typically prepared prior to or in alignment with the kickoff call and may be reviewed during that session.

Final brand kit files—including the selected logo in PNG, SVG, and editable Canva format—will be delivered once your selection is confirmed.

The Brand Kit Add-On is considered complete upon delivery of the final files. No additional revisions or alternate logo options are included beyond what is outlined in this Agreement.

6. Delivery & Completion

Branding is subjective. While every effort is made to deliver a professional and aligned brand foundation, RP Digital Design Studio LLC does not guarantee personal preference, market performance, or business outcomes.
The studio is not responsible for:
  • Trademark conflicts
  • Future rebrands or redesigns
  • Modifications made by the Client after delivery

7. No Guarantees

By purchasing the Brand Kit Add-On, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

This agreement is binding between you (the Client) and RP Digital Design Studio LLC.
